The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for the general and specific cleanliness of the entire Nutrition Center in accordance with safety and sanitary regulations, specified procedures and schedule, to ensure a clean, sanitary and safe work and service environment for employees and visitors.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Responsible for all trash disposal; cleaning all floors, walls, doors, ceilings, windows, specifically assigned equipment, fixtures, etc.
; refilling dispensers to ensure a safe clean work area for employees and visitors.
· Maintain cleanliness of Nutrition Center fixtures such as exterior of walk-in refrigeration, vent hood system, hand wash sinks, kitchen ice machine, fire control system, cafeteria dusting, etc.
, according to assigned procedures and schedule.
· Keeps all dispensers properly filled and maintained according to procedures, schedules and as necessary.
Products or items to be replaced in dispensers include paper towels, soaps, lotions, hood wash chemical, etc.
· Complies with specific food service safety techniques and procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees, patients and visitors.
· Know and practice proper mixing procedures of all cleaning chemicals and compounds.
· Understand the extreme danger of mixing chemicals such as the fatal gas formed by mixing bleach and ammonia or ammonia based products.
· Practices proper sanitation procedures according to established regulations in all phases of the work program to assure safe, sanitary food service to all patients and other patrons.
· Be careful not to contaminate food production areas with unsafe, improper or unsanitary cleaning products.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
· No experience necessary, although preferred.
Will train, and within one month he/she should learn the job.
Preferred qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
