Job Description:
Description: The Trayline Lead Worker is responsible for overseeing trayline tempo, ensuring smooth food service operations, enhancing proper communication and coordinates resources as appropriate.
Portion control, diet compliance, quality assurance, regulatory readiness, line stocking, safety awareness, and team efficiencies are all a part of this role.
This position is an integral part of the patient services leadership team that provides employee support while ensuring food service quality.
Typical Duties:
Appropriately leads staff in trayline operations through good service delivery and accuracy of food orders.
Provides feedback to employees in their job responsibilities for best results.
Checks over cleaning in service areas, ensures dish room sanitation is complete.
Promotes customer service in all aspects.
Responds to and mediates patient or customer concerns regarding meal services.
Communicates effectively and efficiently service issues and value added improvements.
Recommends and implements changes to improve the effectiveness of services.
Provides and demonstrates good customer service behavior in the conduct of daily work interactions.
Ensures area is stocked and proper rotation of supplies.
Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, and policies that impact Nutritional Services.
Ensures compliance with staff on regulatory issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
3 plus years’ work experience in patient services.
Understands patient diets and food allergies.
Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
Must have a current City of Fort Worth Food Handler’s Certification.

Must have completed an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited Food Handler’s Certificate Program (i.

Serve Safe)
Preferred Education and Experience:
