I can’t think of a sub-$ 1,000 receiver I’d rather own than the AVR-3300.
If you’re looking for an amazingly quiet, affordable receiver with plenty of power, impressive Dolby Digital and DTS home theater performance, 96-kHz/24-bit audio capability, and a warm and detailed sound for music playback, you need not look past this one.
It does tons of things way better than its price gives it the right to.
